ESL Training – Icebreakers – Thursday 4th November

Do you sometimes wonder how to start a lesson; starting well sets the tone for your class and helps to create a positive teaching and learning environment.

When Rachel trains Chinese teachers of English, she always starts her sessions with a different warmer. Over the years, she has amassed a large collection of ideas for starting lessons at any level. Pick her brains – and add to her collection. Many of the Chinese teachers say it is the most useful part of the whole course.

This webinar will be a practical session which will give you a chance to try a range of activities that you could adapt for your own teaching situation and an opportunity to share what has worked for you – if you would like to do so.

You will go away with a wide range of practical suggestions for an icebreaker, a lead in, or a warmer.  What’s the difference?  Come and find out.

Speaker: Rachel is an English language teacher and a CELTA trainer who has been a speaker at many of our Forums in the past. She has many years of experience teaching ESOL and EFL. Rachel is known by many and much loved.
