Description
How can we create natural opportunities for learners to explore the Christian faith beyond the ESOL classroom?
Many church-based ESOL groups long to see relationships grow beyond the classroom, but knowing what that looks like in practice isn’t always straightforward.
Perhaps you’re wondering how to develop the outreach side of your ministry, or maybe your group is already running activities alongside your ESOL classes and you’re looking for fresh ideas and encouragement.
Join us for our next Live Seminar as we hear practical examples from church-based ESOL groups that have found different ways of creating opportunities for learners to build relationships, experience Christian community and explore the gospel in ways that are welcoming, transparent and appropriate.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and discuss resources such as So, Lord Speak, Utter Wisdom and The Rescuer.
Could you contribute?
We’re looking for a few people who would be willing to share a short example of something their group has tried—whether that’s one-to-one friendships, social events, Bible studies, seasonal outreach or anything else that has helped create opportunities beyond the classroom. If you’d be happy to share your experience, we’d love to hear from you.
