Description
In this Christmas story, Jesus’ birth is announced to the Shepherds and they wonder at how God chose to speak to them. Mary reflects on her baby, God’s son, the God-man. He is the gift that God planned and promised, the rescuer, Emmanuel: God with us. Jesus would guide his people back to God and give them peace through his death on the cross and resurrection.
Part of a larger series taking us through the Bible, where each video ends by gradually building up the bigger picture of the gospel: God’s plan for us in Jesus, the perfect gift, sacrifice and rescuer.
