  • Robin Fisher

    Robin Fisher left the Army at the age of 27 to qualify as a doctor. He has worked in a wide variety of situations in the UK and abroad.

    He and his wife have worked in the Middle East, inner-city Britain and in Sudan; with Red Sea Desert Nomads, Arab medical students, British Asians and Jordanian Bedouins. The title of his M.Phil thesis, from Birmingham University, is “Change and Stability in an Urban Muslim Society”. The couple have recently returned from Amman, Jordan where Robin was teaching at a University Medical College.

    Robin now works with asylum seekers in Sheffield. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
