This webinar is 58:45 long.

Christians know that other religions exist! Those seeking to reach out with the gospel are acutely aware that most people they interact with cross-culturally already have prior religious commitments (even if only to the ‘gods’ of secularism). But what exactly are other religions – what does the Bible say that they are? Will their ‘other’ religiosity be a barrier or an opportunity to introducing Jesus? What attitude and approach should the Christian adopt towards the reality of the religious ‘other’? And might recurring religious aspirations actually become helpful in pointing people towards Christ?

Jonathan Norgate, with his wife Zoe and three children, worked in Cambodia with OMF for several years before returning to the UK in 2018. While there he was involved in church planting ministry, which included teaching English. Jonathan now lives in Sheffield and teaches ESOL and EFL at a local FE college .

David Baldwin and his wife Maura worked in Ethiopia for 11 years, where his love of teaching emerged. When they returned to the UK they became internationals workers at Carey Baptist Church in Reading and set up Bridges English Classes. David now lives in Birmingham with Maura and is the Director of Global Missions at Oak Hill College in London.
